Seneca Valley Academy of Choice began in 2007 with approximately 36 students in grades 9-12 who looked for an alternative to the traditional classroom environment. By 2009, our district-provided cyber options grew to offer online education for students in grades 7-12.  We expanded to be a full-time comprehensive cyber program for grades K - 12 in 2012.  Now, we are providing education for over 2,000 Seneca Valley students. 

Today, we can offer students the education they need to prepare for life in the 21st century. It provides students with opportunities they may not have previously had through their public education experience. Seneca Valley is proud to meet the needs and wants of students and their parents in the same quality academic environment to which stakeholders have become accustomed. 

Seneca Valley Academy of Choice students have the ability to take courses in the midst of their regular day on a hybrid schedule (a mixture of traditional and cyber offerings) or on a full-time schedule either at school or at their home. These students have the ability to recover credits, remediate, or enrich as well.
