Denise Manganello - Principal

Dr. Manganello was previously the cyber program's Assistant Principal and takes the cyber helm after being an integral part of the program since its inception in 2007.  Prior to that, she served as Assistant Principal of the Senior High School and has been with the district since 2006. 

Dr. Manganello, a graduate of Seneca Valley, also has previous teaching experience in emotional support and as an academy supervisor with the Shaler and Pocono Mountain School Districts, respectively.  Manganello earned her Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees in Education from California University of Pennsylvania (CalU).  She also received her certification in special education, elementary education, K-12 Leadership and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Cal U. She earned her doctorate through American College of Education with a focus on Online Education.   

 

Sarah Parish - Assistant Principal

Ms. Sarah Parish joined the Seneca Valley School District in January 2025 as the new assistant principal of SVAOC.

Ms. Parish’s professional experience includes serving as the principal at Crafton Elementary School, co-elementary school principal for Insight PA Cyber Charter School and a middle school art teacher in Titusville Area School District. In addition, she has contributed as an assistant education coordinator, STEAM teacher and spent over a decade as the head cheerleading coach at Westminster College.

With a background in education and administration, Ms. Parish holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Communications and a Master of Education from Westminster College. She also earned a K-12 Master of Science in Art Education from St. Joseph’s University and her Principal Certificate from Westminster College. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Administration and Policy at Slippery Rock University.
