"Our school district decided to switch to Edgenuity/Seneca Valley OPT for the 2022-23 school year. This year has presented us with many changes and challenges. Matt and Val have been invaluable. Their professionalism, their knowledge of the program, and the ability to contact them on short notice and during the summer helped make our transition smooth. Being one of the larger districts working with Seneca Valley, we have a large number of our students that are full-time cyber and a growing number that are hybrid.
The feedback from parents and students has been positive regarding communication in a timely manner between the students and teachers. Students have reported that they are very happy with the Zoom meetings and the ease of using the Assignment Calendar to keep them on track and moving forward. Parents are positively commenting on the daily emails regarding their child's progress. Many of our current students were also students on our previous platform and have noted the differences, the communication, the ease of the layout to be superior to what they had in the past, and the positive teacher interactions. The Pleasant Valley school district looks forward to our continued partnership with Seneca Valley OPT."

"The Karns City Area School District entered into a partnership with Seneca Valley to provide our students with an online option in 2020. From the very beginning of our partnership, the staff and administration at Seneca Valley have been tremendous. There is not a need that we have had that they cannot meet. Moreover, their communication is always timely and thorough. The biggest compliment I can provide, however, is that I am 100% confident that our cyber students and their parents are pleased with the education they are receiving."

"A Hanover student’s mother is in the military and was ordered to go to Germany. This girl wanted to continue schooling at Hanover. Because of Seneca Valley Cyber & Arts, she is able to take her classes online in Germany and still be a Hanover student. She will be back to the U.S. next school year and will be able to graduate with her class."

“The Central Valley School District would like to express our pleasure with the partnership we have created with Seneca Valley and our cyber program. Our program has grown much faster than any of us may have expected. With the help of your staff Maggie Tkatch and Denise Manganello, we have been able to provide a great opportunity for our students. Without our Cyber Academy being in place, I believe many of our current cyber students would have left our district. Your staff has been more than accommodating when we have had issues or concerns. The training we had for our staff has been instrumental in allowing us to grow at our current rate. We would like to thank Denise and Maggie for their assistance and patience with us and for our continued progress in the future. Together I believe we can make a difference for the students of Central Valley.”

"I would like to thank you for ALL of your support while making our transition to Edgenuity this school year. Mr. Tom Magill has been excellent to work with and he truly has made the first two weeks successful! It has been great to work with Seneca Valley School District this year."

"The Edgenuity program is a great alternative for those not experiencing success in the traditional classroom setting for many reasons. There are many features that the students love. One of the most popular is the fact that they receive immediate feedback on assignments. Their grades are right in front of them as soon as an assignment is complete. Students also like the fact that they can see their syllabus outlined for them in the course map. They know exactly what to expect! Students are given an attainable target everyday which gives them something to strive for.
I personally love the fact that work is always there. There is no down time. The excuse that I don’t have anything to do is no longer valid. The breakdown in grading (Overall, Relative, and Actual) is extremely helpful in diagnosing why a student’s grade is what it is. The flexibility of the program is wonderful. Students as well as their classes can be added or deleted at any time, whether it is the beginning, middle or end of the nine weeks. Students can take as many classes as they can handle. Finally, credit recovery is an option, which has been beneficial for some of our seniors."
