Changing
All dancers are expected to change in the dance locker room.  Students are NOT allowed to change in the stairwell or the front lobby area. There are added locker rooms in the upstairs studio. This is a girls changing area ONLY. All male dancers must change downstairs in the Boys Locker Room. They must then enter the studio from the staircase by the Female Locker Room. Any student that is found changing in an unauthorized area will have discipline actions against them directed by school policy.

Grading Policy
7-8 Grading
Dancers will earn either a “P” for pass or “F” for fail. There will not be percentage grades. For feedback, dancers should contact their instructor.

9-12 Grading
Instructors will be adding grades to the SV gradebook twice a term. The grades will be listed on dancer's SV report card and will be factored into their QPA.  If a student is enrolled in CCBC Associate Dance Program, their SV grade will be applied to their CCBC transcript as well.

Studio “Scan-In”
The Seneca Valley Academy of Choice is implementing a new system for signing into the studio. Each dancer will be given a QR card that will remain in the studio. Each time a student arrives at the lab they will “scan” in by using the Accuclass system.

Drop Policy
Dance students are enrolled in an elective course and it is a part of their academic schedule. District Policy for drop/add will be followed as this is a course and not an activity. If a student decides to drop any dance course for any reason other than excused medical issues, they will receive a Withdrawal Fail “WF” on their report card.
